Taking to press, Billboard announced that ‘About Damn Time’ has now reached a new peak of #4 on the Hot 100. It rose one spot from its previous peak of #5 last week.
The song’s success is bolstered by many factors. One of the main contributions to its new peak is its success on radio, where it blasted to #10 on the Radio Songs chart from #14 last week. It becomes her third top 10 on the chart. She previously reached the region with her songs ‘Truth Hurts’ and ‘Good As Hell.’
‘About Damn Time’ not only became her fourth top 5 single on the Hot 100, but it also serves as the lead single from her upcoming album, ‘Special,’ due out on July 15.
